Function
Particle capture: Capture particulate matter (PM) in exhaust gas, including soot and soluble organic matter (SOF).
Passive regeneration: Utilize high exhaust temperature or NO₂ oxidation to automatically burn accumulated soot during driving, avoiding frequent manual regeneration.
Auxiliary DPF: Often used in conjunction with DPF (diesel particulate filter) as a pre-treatment unit to extend the life of DPF.
